
The Illinois Renewable Energy Association (IREA) presents 7th Annual Illinois Renewable Energy and Sustainable Lifestyle Fair on August 9th and 10th, 2008. IREA supports sustainable energy development in Illinois and provides hands-on opportunities for the Illinois public to learn about the benefits, potentials, and uses of renewable energy and energy efficiency for our homes and businesses.
The Fair will feature over 100 booths and exhibits, 60 workshops, food, entertainment, children’s activities and tours. You will find there everything from Wind Turbines, Geothermal Systems, Biodiesel Processors, Hybrid, Electric & Alternative Vehicles, Solar Panels to Organic Farm Market, Environmental Education organizations and numerous workshops on the latest environmental and energy-saving technologies.
The fair will be held at the Ogle County Fairgrounds in Oregon, Illinois. Fair Hours: Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 p.m., Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 p.m. More information you will find on the Illinois Renewable Energy Association website.
