When he developed severe symptoms of Tourette Syndrome (TS) they abruptly stopped the medications. One day Shula saw a TV show on the Feingold diet. While she didn’t have much hope that it would help her son’s behavior and tics, she tried it. Remarkably, within four days her son was behaviorally normal and within months there were no tics. • Doug Kaufmann, known by many as “1 Fungi”, took  interest in the ability of fungus to cause disease began in 1971 upon coming home from Vietnam. Doug was ill and doctors turned to medications in their efforts to help him recover, but the symptoms escalated and he took it upon himself to study and eventually find “the cause.” Doug had been exposed to a poisonous fungus while overseas, something his doctors had never considered. Unfortunately, this same fate is suffered by many people today as the medical community is quick to prescribe, but acknowledge that “the cause” of most disease eludes them. As evidenced by the popularity of his website, knowthecause.com, and national television show, Know The Cause, fungal diseases are among the most under diagnosed in this country. Kaufmann has authored seven books that educate readers on better understanding the cause of their health problems and urges the use of safe supplements and dietary changes to eradicate most fungal infections.

For Those Needing Special Accomodations for Dietary Reasons:

I have contacted the American Airlines Training Center to inquire about the food service. Folks attending the Conference will be dining at the Royal Coachman Food Court, a self-serve food-court with daily offerings from stations featuring pasta, pizza, deli-sandwiches, cook-to-order grill, ‘hot line,’ Mexican, soup and salad bars, a different-every-day specialty station and dessert display. Those eating special diets will find several options at the ‘very liberal’ salad bar, off of the grill, and main course items and vegetables in the ‘hot line’. The facility does not have a separate kitchen for gluten free dining, and guests should specifically ask for a clean grill and utensils for food preparation if it is required. The hotel also offers ‘European’ sized rooms (small) that do not have refrigerators or microwaves. Coffee makers are available and there is a communal microwave in various lounge rooms near the guest room corridors.
